About Joe
A Full Circle Musical Journey
Joe’s musical journey began early—at just 13 years old—when he started performing as a multi-keyboardist with both small groups and larger ensembles. Those formative years on stage sparked a lifelong dedication to music that eventually led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music. There, he immersed himself in the art and craft of composing, arranging, orchestrating, and performance, majoring in Film Scoring while also pursuing a minor in Jazz Arranging and Composition.
Armed with a deep and versatile skill set, Joe went on to build a dynamic career spanning more than five decades. As a composer, arranger, songwriter, orchestrator, and producer, he collaborated with a wide range of clients across many genres and forms of media. Throughout it all, his passion for music remained at the heart of his work, bringing creativity, insight, and professionalism to every project he touched.
Years later, Joe was invited back to Berklee as a visiting artist. What was meant to be a brief engagement turned into a pivotal moment. Working with advanced students, he discovered something unexpected: a profound passion for teaching. In that experience, the many skills and perspectives he had developed over a lifetime in music came together with new clarity. He realized that his greatest calling was not only creating music, but helping the next generation of musicians find their own voices.

To that end, Joe embarked on an ambitious project entitled "Inspired by Joy". The project is large scale, there were 85+ musicians and singers in addition to technical staff involved with this project! The initiative pursued several primary objectives:
First, to create music that reflects a multicultural aesthetic, inspired by the joy he experiences through the diverse global communities he engages with daily.
Second, to develop advanced educational materials derived from these compositions and productions for use in his classes—spanning topics such as full orchestral composition, arranging for 48-piece ensembles incorporating Brazilian-influenced rhythms, and the integration of electronic music through the adaptation and transformation of recorded acoustic elements.
Here is a brief sampling of the music which is scheduled for release later in 2026:
